Life Science & Pharma

Services Life Science Visualization

Science that looks as precise as it is.

Mode-of-action animations, mixed media and data visualization for pharma, biotech and medical technology. Visual precision that doesn't sacrifice storytelling — built on 14+ years of science communication.

For

Pharma, biotech and medical technology teams who can't afford visual imprecision.

We make

Mode-of-action animations, mixed media films and data visualization grounded in real science.

So that

Your audience trusts what they see — because the biology was verified before the first frame.

What we do for life science

Five things we’re good at here.

01

Mode-of-Action Animations

Molecular biology, drug mechanism and cellular pathway visualizations for medical education, congress presentations, HCP communications and internal training. We work directly from scientific literature and review cycles.

02

Mixed Media & Documentary-Style Films

Patient stories, investigator profiles and disease awareness films that combine live action, 2D illustration and 3D CGI. Narrative craft applied to complex science.

03

Data Visualization & Infographics

Clinical trial data, epidemiology and outcome metrics made visual. Static, animated and interactive formats for publications, slide decks and conference materials.

04

Medical Device & Implant Visualization

Surgical technique animations, product demonstrations and training videos for medical devices and implants. Photorealistic 3D where accuracy is non-negotiable.

05

Multilingual Versioning & Adaptation

AI-assisted multilingual versioning across EU and global markets. On-screen text, voiceover replacement and subtitle tracks — delivered as a package, not an afterthought.

Our approach

How we make life science that earns its place.

01

Science brief & review

One call with the right people — scientific lead and creative director together. We agree on what the animation must communicate before we design anything.

02

Storyboard & scientific approval

Storyboards sent with source citations attached. Every visual claim is traceable. One approval round before animation begins.

03

Production & adaptation

2D, 3D, live action or mixed — produced in-house, no subcontracting surprises. Master file plus all required formats and language versions in one delivery.

FAQ

Questions clients actually ask.

Don’t see your question? Ask us directly and you’ll have an answer back within a working day.

How long does a mode-of-action animation take to produce?
A standard MOA animation runs 6–10 weeks from brief to delivery — including one scientific review round, storyboard approval and two revision cycles. Shorter formats (60–90 seconds) can be delivered in 4–6 weeks. Fast Track projects with confirmed briefs have delivered rough cuts within 10 days.
Do you work under NDA?
Yes. All projects are handled under NDA as standard. Most life science work is confidential — which is why work samples are shown on request via a private showreel call rather than publicly on the site.
Can you work directly from scientific literature and data?
Yes. We work from published papers, clinical trial data, molecular structure files and regulatory submissions. Our process includes a scientific review step before any animation begins — every visual claim is traceable to source.
What formats do you deliver life science animations in?
Master files plus all required output formats: broadcast-spec video for congresses and medical education, web-optimised MP4 for digital channels, and adapted cuts for social and presentation use. Multilingual versions (voiceover, subtitles, on-screen text) are produced in parallel.
Do you work with pharma agencies or directly with pharma companies?
Both. We work directly with medical affairs, marketing and communications teams at pharma and biotech companies, and alongside medical communication agencies as a production partner. We integrate into existing approval workflows without friction.
How do you handle medical-legal review (MLR) cycles?
We design our process around MLR. Storyboards include source citations for each visual claim, so review teams can verify against literature without rewatching the animation. We typically build in two MLR rounds at storyboard and first-cut stages, and one for final — turnaround is fastest when MLR receives the storyboard with citations rather than the rendered animation.
